The check that prevents costly breakdowns
Monthly bar maintenance includes checking the draught beer system (pressure regulators, CO2 pressure, gaskets, python, FOB), cleaning the condensers of bottle coolers and fridges, descaling the ice machine and the glasswasher, and checking temperatures and door seals. Everything is recorded.
This checklist and its record are an internal control, but they do not replace the official technical service (SAT) nor the authorised gas/CO2 installer. Timlup does not repair or certify; it is there to keep a record of your checks and to log when the technician came.

Draught beer system
Monthly – approx. 50 min- 1 Change or check the CO2 or N2 cylinders and check the pressure on the regulators, adjust to the recommended value. 15 min
- 2 Check the couplers and gaskets, make sure there are no leaks or pressure losses. 15 min
- 3 Check the python and the draught cooler, verify the beer serving temperature. 10 min
- 4 Check the FOB detectors and the taps, purge air from the circuit if necessary. 10 min
Cold units (bottle coolers and fridges)
Monthly – approx. 45 min- 1 Clean the condensers of bottle coolers and fridges with a brush or vacuum. 20 min
- 2 Check the door gaskets and seals, verify the airtight closure. 15 min
- 3 Check temperatures with a calibrated thermometer and compare with the display. 10 min
Ice machine
Monthly – approx. 35 min- 1 Inspect and clean the filter and condenser of the ice machine. 15 min
- 2 Check the ice output and the quality of the cubes. 10 min
- 3 Run the purge and check the drain of the ice machine. 10 min
Glasswasher and water
Monthly – approx. 50 min- 1 Thoroughly descale the interior and boiler of the glasswasher with a descaler. 25 min
- 2 Check and calibrate the detergent and rinse-aid dosers, check the heating elements. 10 min
- 3 Check the water softener: salt, filters or membrane. 15 min
General items
Monthly – approx. 20 min- 1 Inspect plugs, cables and equipment fixings, check for any looseness; check the neon sign and signage. 10 min
- 2 Note any issues and wear detected to pass on to the official technician (SAT). 10 min
Maintenance log
when closing the monthly maintenance- 1 Log the monthly maintenance carried out (draught beer, cold units, ice machine, glasswasher, general items), any issues found and the person responsible who signs it.
