Monthly preventive maintenance for your bar equipment

Check the draught beer system, cold units, ice machine and glasswasher each month and keep a signed record.

Monthly layer added on top of daily and weekly cleaning. The list fires on the 1st and is signed with a PIN (Pro/Essential plan). Record of internal checks + a log of when the technician (SAT) came.

Why monthly maintenance

The check that prevents costly breakdowns

Monthly bar maintenance includes checking the draught beer system (pressure regulators, CO2 pressure, gaskets, python, FOB), cleaning the condensers of bottle coolers and fridges, descaling the ice machine and the glasswasher, and checking temperatures and door seals. Everything is recorded.

This checklist and its record are an internal control, but they do not replace the official technical service (SAT) nor the authorised gas/CO2 installer. Timlup does not repair or certify; it is there to keep a record of your checks and to log when the technician came.

Maintenance in Excel gets forgotten. With Timlup the list fires on the 1st and is signed with a PIN in the manager dashboard. The monthly cadence is part of the paid Pro or Essential plans; the daily and weekly ones are free.

Why Timlup

Your monthly maintenance, never missed

Timlup reminds you of the monthly checks and keeps a signed record.

Recurring monthly maintenance, never missed (paid plan)

Set the monthly cadence once and the list fires automatically on the 1st; your team knows what to inspect and nothing slips through. Available on the paid Pro or Essential plans.

Prevents breakdowns and extends the life of your bar equipment

Catching a CO2 leak, a dirty condenser or limescale in the glasswasher early avoids stopping the draught during peak hours. It also avoids expensive repairs from the technical service (SAT).

Signed traceability + official technician (SAT) log

Each internal check is signed with a PIN and recorded with the date and the person responsible in the dashboard; you also log when the technician (SAT) came and what they did. Timlup does not certify anything: it helps you document in an orderly way.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about monthly bar maintenance

We answer your questions about frequency, what is included and the role of the official technical service.

How often should preventive maintenance of bar equipment be carried out?
Monthly, once a month on the 1st when the checklist fires. There are also free daily and weekly checklists; the monthly one is paid (Pro or Essential) and is signed with a PIN. Always follow each equipment's manual.
What exactly does this monthly maintenance checklist include?
It includes checking the draught beer system (CO2, pressure regulators, gaskets, python, FOB), cold units (condensers, gaskets, temperatures), the ice machine (filter, output, purge), the glasswasher and water (descaling, dosers, heating elements, water softener), general items (plugs, cables, neon sign) and logging any issues. These are internal preventive checks, not daily cleaning or repairs.
How does this checklist differ from the official technical service (SAT) inspection?
This checklist is the internal preventive checks done by your team. Repairs, calibrations and certifications are always carried out by the SAT or the authorised gas/CO2 installer; one does not replace the other, this checklist complements that inspection.
Does Timlup repair or fix the bar equipment?
No. Timlup is task-list software: it reminds you of the checks, organises who does them and keeps the signed record. It does not repair, certify or replace a technician. Repairs and official interventions are always carried out by the SAT or an authorised professional.
Is monthly maintenance included in Timlup's free plan?
No. The monthly cadence is part of the paid plans (Pro or Essential). The Free plan covers the daily and weekly cadences. To schedule checks that repeat every month and are signed with a PIN you need a paid plan.
How long does the full monthly maintenance take?
It adds up to about 3 h 20 min (around 200 minutes), broken down as follows: draught beer system 50 min, cold units 45 min, ice machine 35 min, glasswasher and water 50 min, and general items 20 min. The duration varies depending on the number and model of equipment in each bar.
