How much does Timlup cost per month?
There are four public prices and one custom plan. Free costs €0 a month, forever. Essential is €19/month for a single site. Pro is €29 per site per month, and it is the one we recommend when you run several sites. Advanced is €49 per site per month. Enterprise is quoted case by case. All prices exclude VAT.
Is the Free plan really free? What does it include?
Yes. It costs €0, asks for no card and has no expiry date. You get 1 site, up to 5 active checklists, up to 2 employees with a PIN, daily and weekly recurrence, digital signature, the compliance light (on time or late) and the last 7 days of history. Not included: CSV import and export, and alerts to emails without an account.
What is the difference between Essential and Pro?
Essential covers a single site: up to 50 active checklists, up to 15 employees with a PIN and checklist closing alerts to 3 emails without an account. Pro adds what multi-site teams ask for: unlimited checklists, managers and employees, copying checklists from one site to another, compliance metrics compared site by site and alerts to 10 emails. Essential is €19/month; Pro, €29 per site per month.
How does per site pricing work on Pro and Advanced?
You multiply the monthly fee by the number of sites, from 1 to 100, with a single invoice and a single dashboard. Two sites on Pro come to €58 a month. Two sites on Advanced come to €98 a month. Both figures exclude VAT. You set the number of sites when you change plan, so you can start with one and add the rest as you open them.
What do I get with the Advanced plan?
Advanced includes everything in Pro and lifts three limits: checklist closing alerts to emails without an account with no cap, history kept with no time limit, and priority one to one onboarding included. It costs €49 per site per month. It makes sense if you need to keep years of records, or if you send closed checklists to owners, head office or outside clients.
Do I need a card to get started?
No. The Free plan asks for no card and has no expiry date. Create the account, sign in with Google if you prefer, and start building checklists from the catalogue of 109 templates by sector, role and area. You only need a card the day you move up to a paid plan, and payment runs through Stripe from the Billing section.
Is there a minimum term? Can I cancel or switch plans whenever I want?
There is no minimum term. You cancel it yourself from Manage billing, with no phone calls and no emails in between. When the period you already paid for ends, the account goes back to Free and keeps all of your data. Switching plans takes effect immediately and is prorated, and you can adjust the number of sites at the same time.
What discount do you get with annual billing?
You pay for 10 months and use 12, so two months are on us. Essential works out at €190 a year instead of €228. Pro with one site works out at €290 a year instead of €348. Annual plans also include a one to one onboarding session, so your checklists are ready from day one.
Do prices include VAT? How do I pay?
The prices you see exclude VAT. You pay by card through Stripe, which adds each country's tax: 21% VAT in Spain, and no tax outside the European Union. If you run several sites on Pro or Advanced, you get a single invoice for the whole account and you manage everything from one dashboard.
What happens if I go over the Free plan limits?
Nothing gets deleted. The app tells you as soon as you try to create a sixth active checklist or a third employee with a PIN, and you decide from there. You can archive whatever you no longer use, because archived checklists do not count towards the limit, or move up to Essential from Billing in about a minute. Your data stays exactly as it was.
Do you have a plan for chains and franchises?
Yes, it is called Enterprise and it is quoted case by case. There is a volume discount from 7 sites, plus dedicated onboarding and support. API access and integrations and single sign-on (SSO) are coming soon, so we do not sell them as finished yet. If you run several brands or franchisees, tell us how you are set up and we will put a quote together.
How does the price compare with Trail or other checklist apps?
Trail's own pricing page, checked in August 2026, lists a Team plan from £38 per site per month with a 12 month minimum term, and reporting starts on the Standard plan at £75 per site per month. Timlup starts at €0, its multi-site plan is €29 per site per month, and there is no minimum term. We publish every price.
