Templates: Timlup's catalog and yours
Start from a catalog template by sector, archive lists without losing them, and duplicate them between locations.

In Timlup, templates let you standardize your checklists and save time in your daily creation. Here’s how the catalog works, how to archive and duplicate checklists without losing information.
The «From Timlup» catalog
When you enter the templates section, you’ll find two tabs. The first one, «From Timlup», contains a catalog of ready-made checklists, organized by sectors. These templates are ready to use: you just have to select the one that fits your operation and copy it to your workspace. They are a starting point designed to cover common needs in different fields.
Your templates («Mine»)
The second tab, «Mine», is your personal repository. All the checklists you have created or duplicated from the catalog are saved here. Checklists you have archived also appear here (more on what this means below). From this view, you can manage your templates, edit them, or duplicate them whenever you need.
Archiving a checklist
Archiving a checklist takes it out of your daily operation: it stops generating daily checklists and no longer appears in your active flow. However, it does not delete anything. The archived checklist is kept in full in Templates → Mine, so you can view it or recover it in the future. It’s a way to keep your space organized without losing valuable information.
Duplicating in the same location or in another one
Duplicating a checklist creates an exact copy, but this copy is left in draft and inactive. In other words, it does not generate any daily checklists or affect your operation until you decide to publish it. You can duplicate a checklist in the same location or in a different one.
When you duplicate to another location, the copy tries to automatically match items such as the time slot, the area, the assigned employee, and the tags, looking for equivalents in the destination location. If any item does not have a clear equivalent, the system will notify you so you can adjust it manually. Nothing is lost in silence: you can always review and correct before you can manage the checklist.
From «Mine» you can also duplicate archived checklists. This is useful if you have a checklist that is no longer used but serves as a basis for a new version: you duplicate it, edit it, and publish it without affecting the original file.
Frequently asked questions
Are there ready-made templates?
Yes. In the «From Timlup» tab, you will find a catalog of ready-made templates, organized by sectors, that you can copy to your workspace with one click.
What happens when I archive a checklist?
The checklist is taken out of your daily operation and stops generating daily checklists, but it is not deleted. It is saved in Templates → Mine so you can view it or recover it whenever you want.
How do I copy a checklist to another location?
Duplicate the checklist from «Mine» or from the catalog and choose the destination location. The copy will be created as a draft and will try to automatically match time slot, area, employee, and tags. If something does not match, you will receive a notification to adjust it.
Does duplicating a checklist use up plan quota?
No. Duplicating creates a draft and inactive copy, so it does not generate daily checklists or use up quota until you publish it. You can duplicate as many times as you need without affecting your plan.
