Recurrence, time slots, and hours of a checklist
When each checklist is generated: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or on a specific date, with a time slot or with its own hours.

Each Timlup list is generated based on a recurrence and a schedule. In this article, we explain when each list is generated and how to choose between a location’s time slot or custom hours.
The five recurrence options
When creating or editing a list, you choose one of these five recurrences: Diaria, Semanal, Mensual, Anual, and Fecha específica. The recurrence determines which days the list is generated, but not the time: that is determined by the schedule.
| Recurrence | When it is generated | What you choose |
|---|---|---|
| Diaria (Daily) | Every day | — |
| Semanal (Weekly) | The marked days | Days of the week |
| Mensual (Monthly) | The indicated day | Specific day |
| Anual (Annual) | The indicated date | Specific date |
| Fecha específica (Specific date) | Only once | Specific date |
Daily lists are automatically generated at midnight in each location’s local time.
Location time slot or custom hours
The schedule for a list can come from two sources: a franja horaria del local (location time slot) or horas propias (custom hours) of the list.
- Franja horaria del local (Location time slot): the time slot is defined in the location details. The list is generated within that time slot.
- Horas propias (Custom hours): the list has its own start and end time, independent of the location’s schedule.
Use the location time slot when all lists share the same schedule. If a list needs a different schedule, define custom hours.
Every N days or weeks
The «cada N» (every N) interval allows you to generate a list every N days, weeks, or months. For example, a biweekly list is generated every 2 weeks and a bimonthly list every 2 months.
This option is available in paid plans.
Location closing days
The location’s weekly schedule also affects list generation. On days when the location is closed:
- No daily lists are generated.
- No simple weekly lists are generated.
- Yes, lists with the «cada N» (every N) interval are generated, even if the location is closed that day.
Check the weekly schedule in the location details to know which days your lists will be generated.
Frequently asked questions
What recurrence options exist?
There are five: Diaria, Semanal, Mensual, Anual, and Fecha específica. Additionally, paid plans include the «cada N» (every N) interval to generate lists every several days, weeks, or months.
What is a time slot?
It is a schedule defined in the location details. When creating a list, you can use that time slot as the list’s schedule or define your own start and end times.
Can I create a biweekly list?
Yes. The biweekly list is achieved with the «cada N» (every N) interval: you choose every 2 weeks. This option is available in paid plans.
Are lists generated on closing days?
Simple daily and weekly lists are not generated if the location is closed according to its weekly schedule. Lists with the «cada N» (every N) interval are generated even if the location is closed that day.
