Notifications for people without an account (external recipients)
Let the owner, a manager, or your management company receive notifications by email without having a Timlup account, with consent and one-click opt-out.

Do you need a manager, your administrative office, or a supplier to receive alerts from your checklists without having a Timlup account? You can add them as external recipients from the panel. You only need their email, their name, and their consent. Here’s how it works.
Adding an external recipient
Go to Notificaciones → Destinatarios externos (Notifications → External recipients) and click Añadir destinatario (Add recipient). It’s set up the same way as your own alert:
- Enter their email and their name.
- Choose the scope of the alert: which checklists or which location they’re interested in.
- Tick the consent box.
- Save the recipient.
From that point on, they’ll receive the email alerts based on the checklists and locations you’ve selected. They don’t need a user account, a PIN, or access to the employee portal.
Consent
It’s mandatory to tick the consent box when adding an external recipient. By doing so, you confirm that the person has agreed to receive the alerts. Without this step, you can’t save them. This way we comply with data protection regulations and avoid unwanted emails.
One-click unsubscribe
All emails we send to external recipients include a one-click unsubscribe link. If that person no longer wants to receive alerts, they just click it. They stop receiving them immediately, without logging in anywhere and without you needing to intervene.
If you prefer to manage it yourself, you can also delete the recipient from Notificaciones → Destinatarios externos. But the direct unsubscribe from the email is the fastest route for the recipient themselves.

The number of external recipients depends on your plan:
